Where to buy figures in Akihabara

TAGS
Reading a used-figure tag
- 未開封 (unopened) — never opened, but the outer film or box can still show storage wear.
- A / B grades — each shop has its own scale. At Lashinbang, A is normal used condition and B has visible scratches or dirt. At Surugaya, "Rank B" means the box is damaged.
- 破損品 / 欠品あり — damaged, or parts missing. Read the notes (備考) on the tag.
- No returns on low grades. Surugaya sells Rank B and below as no-claim, no-return (ノークレームノーリターン).
FAKES
Avoiding bootlegs
Buy from established shops. Good Smile Company and Bandai both warn that counterfeits circulate mostly through online auctions and private sales, and may even carry the maker's name. The shops above are far safer than flea-market apps. A price far below everyone else's is the biggest warning sign.
